His musical career began at age 9, playing piano in a small church. Teaching himself to play multiple instruments, by age 17 he was performing in local Honky Tonks. After 12 years with Confederate Railroad, Cody stepped out on his on.He has garnered Three #1 Videos on CMT Pure with RED FLAG, WHITE TRASH WITH MONEY and I'M AMERICA featuring Charlie Daniels, 4 Top 20 Singles and was name Music Row's Independent Artist of the year 3 consecutive years. He is a national celebrity spokesperson for Big Brothers and Big Sisters of America. After all these accomplishments, Cody is now starring in a movie along side Michael Madsen (KIll Bill 1 & 2, Resevoir Dogs, Thelma & Louise, Free Willy). The movie is called Cole Younger and the Black Train due out 2011. Cody also wrote and recorded the theme song for the movie "Outlaws & Trains" with a video due out soon. The Outlaws & Trains song has spawn a tour with the legendary David Allan Coe. Cody and David Allan are on the OUTLAWS & TRAINS TOUR Throughout 2011.
